14th Four Seasons Maldives Surfing Champions Trophy

The Indian Ocean does not need much convincing to put on a show. But for one week each September, it outdoes itself. At Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa, the Surfing Champions Trophy is confirmed to return to the legendary Sultans break from September 4 to 11, 2026.
This year’s field brings together six surfers whose careers span competitive dominance, big-wave daring and pure creative flair: Hawaii’s Mason Ho, the two-time HIC Pro champion celebrated for his inventive and unpredictable surfing; Brazil’s Caio Ibelli, World Junior Champion, WSL Rookie of the Year and former World No. 8; South Africa’s Travis Logie, the 2002 ISA World Surfing Games Open Champion and a Championship Tour veteran; Australia’s Bede Durbidge, the 2007 Pipeline Masters and Triple Crown champion who finished World No. 2 in 2008; fellow Australian Felicity Palmateer, a former Championship Tour surfer, pioneering big-wave rider and WSL commentator; and Maldivian standout Ahmed Hisham Shaheem, a national-team representative who reached the third round of the 2024 Asian Surfing Championship on his international debut.

Together, they set the stage for an exhilarating week at Sultans, where champions come to surf and no board, wave or result is entirely predictable.
