Celebration beneath the palms: Baros Maldives welcomes the festive season

Baros Maldives will welcome guests to the festive season from 22 December 2026 to 7 January 2027, with a programme inspired by the island’s natural surroundings, Maldivian heritage and the pleasures of gathering around good food. From Christmas traditions and ocean adventures to intimate dinners and New Year celebrations, the season invites guests to experience the festive period in the distinctive spirit of Baros.

On this small island in the Indian Ocean, the festive season takes its cue from island life. Days unfold between the lagoon and the palms, meals are enjoyed with the sea as a backdrop, and time is made for shared experiences. At Baros, festive celebrations are shaped around this sense of place, combining the warmth of Christmas and New Year with the intimacy, nature and genuine Maldivian hospitality for which the island is known.
