The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort will welcome World Class Global Bartender of the Year 2025, Felice Capasso, for an exclusive Tastemaker Series collaboration on February 4–5, reinforcing the resort’s reputation for refined craftsmanship and cultural depth.

Set on a private island in Dhaalu Atoll, the resort embodies contemporary island glamour, featuring iconic overwater and beachfront estates that blend expansive living spaces, private pools, and sweeping ocean views.

Capasso’s takeover unfolds at The Whale Bar, a striking overwater venue that transforms at sunset into a vibrant, South American–inspired experience. Guests will enjoy Latin-style shared plates paired with bespoke cocktails as Capasso debuts an exclusive menu showcasing his signature balance of classic technique and modern creativity.

The experience continues the following day with an intimate rum-focused masterclass, where Capasso explores the spirit’s heritage, regional diversity, and storytelling-driven approach to mixology.
