St. Regis Maldives Unveils Tastemaker Series 2026
The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort announces the return of its acclaimed Tastemaker Series in 2026, continuing its tradition of hosting influential global talents across culinary arts, fine wine, mixology, wellness, and sport. The programme reinforces the resort’s position as a destination where creativity, excellence, and cultural expression converge.
The season opens in January with celebrated chef Gianluca Renzi, presenting wine-led dining experiences, a hands-on gnocchi masterclass, and a signature oceanfront dinner. February highlights pioneering craftsmanship with Felice Capasso, World Class Global Bartender of the Year 2025, followed by Burgundy winemaker Romaric Chavy of Domaine Chavy-Chouet, who will host an exclusive tasting and dinner experience.
Wellness takes centre stage from February 9 to 23 with the return of visiting practitioner Akiko Igarashi, offering restorative Reiki, sound healing, and bespoke couples’ therapies. In March, former World No. 1 and Grand Slam champion Angelique Kerber joins the series with exclusive tennis sessions, including private coaching, children’s clinics, and guest interactions.
April welcomes Michelin-starred British chef Glynn Purnell, whose residency includes a showcase dinner, cooking class, and finale at The Whale Bar. The season concludes in May with tennis icon Feliciano López, who brings elite-level insight through curated coaching sessions in a relaxed island setting.
Reflecting on the series, General Manager Vincent Pauchon notes that the Tastemaker Series is a celebration of passion, artistry, and meaningful connection—an ethos that continues to define the St. Regis Maldives experience in 2026.
